How to book a resource out to a student and log its return
- 1In the sidebar under Library & resources, click Resources
- 2Open the resource (e.g. a microscope or laptop) to see its Items list
- 3On an available item, click Book
- 4In the Book dialog, search the Borrower (student), set From and Until dates, and click Book — the item's status flips to in use with the borrower's name shown
- 5When it comes back, click Return on the item
- 6Choose the Condition on return (good, damaged, or lost) — damaged sends the item to maintenance, lost marks it lost
- 7Add optional Damage / notes (e.g. Cracked screen) and click Return
- 8Scroll to Recent activity to see the completed booking record
