How to book a resource out to a student and log its return

  1. 1In the sidebar under Library & resources, click Resources
  2. 2Open the resource (e.g. a microscope or laptop) to see its Items list
  3. 3On an available item, click Book
  4. 4In the Book dialog, search the Borrower (student), set From and Until dates, and click Book — the item's status flips to in use with the borrower's name shown
  5. 5When it comes back, click Return on the item
  6. 6Choose the Condition on return (good, damaged, or lost) — damaged sends the item to maintenance, lost marks it lost
  7. 7Add optional Damage / notes (e.g. Cracked screen) and click Return
  8. 8Scroll to Recent activity to see the completed booking record

Barcode labels you print yourself, a scan station for checkout, holds families place from home, shared equipment reserved with dates instead of arguments — and the textbooks, shelf counts, and supply cupboard that come with all of it.
