Who it's for

Pearspark for classical schools

Records as rigorous as the curriculum

Your school teaches Latin, logic, and rhetoric — and your office runs on a filing cabinet. A classical education deserves better records.

The 3-minute tour: records as rigorous as the curriculum — real screens, no slides.

Admissions lives in one person's head

Applications in email, interview notes on paper, and only the admissions director knows who's waiting on what.

The transcript is the product — built by hand

Families chose you for the academic record, and it's assembled each spring from grade sheets and memory.

Transfers take two weeks

A receiving school asks for records and someone spends an afternoon at the copier assembling transcript, attendance, and health forms.

In short

Pearspark keeps a classical school's whole paper trail in one system: an admissions pipeline with checkpoints and named interviewers, a public application form for your website, real grade scales behind every mark, posted term grades that become report cards and GPA transcripts, records packets that print in minutes for transfers, and CSV import for years of existing academic history.

Admissions is a pipeline, not a pile

Every applicant family moves down a checkpoint board — applied, recommendation letter, interview scheduled, interview done, accepted, letter mailed, registration paid. You see at a glance exactly who is waiting on you. Interviews get a date and named interviewers, and each interviewer sees theirs coming up on their own dashboard.

The application form is your website's

The application is a public link you put on your school's site — your questions, sibling applications in one submission — and every family lands on the board automatically. When they're accepted, one click turns the applicant into an enrolled student.

The academic spine

Years, grading terms, and real grade scales sit under every record. When someone asks what an A− meant in 2026, it's written down.

A gradebook with a spine

The gradebook is a grid that autosaves, with categories and weights per class. At quarter's end, post term grades: review each student's mark, adjust where your judgment says so, and it's on the record. Report cards assemble from grades already in the book — print one student's or the whole class in one job.

The transcript is the product

Every year, every course — Latin included — credits earned, accumulating automatically, ready the day a college or receiving school asks. GPA computes with two credit modes, and graduation dates appear on their own.

Transfers, gracefully

When a family moves on, a records packet — transcript, attendance, health records — prints as one bundle for the receiving school. Ten minutes, not two weeks.

History comes with you

Already have years of paper records? Past academic history imports from a spreadsheet, so transcripts are complete from day one — not from the day you switched. And parents see grades, report cards, and attendance in the portal, so the hard conversations happen early, with the numbers already on the table.

Common questions

Can transcripts include our full course catalog — Latin, logic, rhetoric?

Yes. Courses are whatever you teach; transcripts list every year and course with credits and GPA, and print cleanly to PDF from the browser.

We grade on our own scale. Can Pearspark match it?

Grade scales are school-defined and versioned by year, so every posted mark is backed by the scale that was in force. Standards-based grading is also built in if lower-school skills reporting uses E/S/N or a 1–4 scale.

Can we import a decade of existing transcripts?

Historical academic records import from CSV with a dry-run preview — years, courses, grades, and credits — so transcripts are complete from day one on Pearspark.
