Who it's for

Pearspark for micro schools

The whole school in one place

Thirty kids, three staff — and one of you is also the librarian, the bookkeeper, and the school nurse. You don't need more software. You need one place.

The 3-minute tour: the whole school in one place — real screens, no slides.

The answer is always in another tab

Guardians in a spreadsheet, allergies in a binder, grades in a second app, invoices in a third. When a parent calls, you're three systems away from a complete answer.

Founders do five jobs

The head of school is also the registrar, the nurse, and the accounts department. Tools built for a district office assume staff you don't have.

Per-module pricing punishes small

The big SIS vendors license attendance, billing, and the parent portal separately — at prices that assume 500 students are splitting the bill.

In short

Pearspark is school management software built for micro schools: every student's guardians, health records, attendance, grades, and invoices on one page, a gradebook that becomes report cards and transcripts by itself, tuition billing families pay online, and a family portal that answers questions before they're asked — all at one flat price with no per-module fees.

The whole child on one page

Start with a student: one page carries guardians and the billing contact, allergies and medications, attendance, classes and grades, and report cards. Severe allergies badge the student for every adult who views them — the three-ring binder in the office, retired.

Attendance in the time it takes to say good morning

A tap per kid — Present, Absent, Late, Excused — and it feeds everything downstream: the student page, the family portal, the transcript.

A gradebook that does the math

A grid that autosaves as you type, categories and weights if you want them, drop-the-lowest if you're merciful. At term end, report cards assemble themselves from what's already there, and transcripts print with GPA the day a receiving school asks.

Tuition without the spreadsheet

Put each family on a plan, click Run billing once a month, and read four tiles: billed, collected, outstanding, overdue. Connect Stripe and families pay online, straight to the school's account. Overdue reminders send themselves.

A real library, not a bookshelf

Barcode labels you print yourself, a scan station for checkout, due dates, and a history of who has what. The classroom bookshelf becomes a library in an afternoon.

Families see it all — without asking you

The portal answers questions before they're asked: grades, attendance, what we're learning this week, library books due back, invoices they can pay online. Fewer Friday-afternoon emails; more Friday afternoon.

June takes an afternoon, not a month

A four-step wizard rolls the whole school into the new year — classes carried, students promoted, seniors graduated. The setup work you did once keeps paying.

Common questions

We're 22 students. Is Pearspark overkill?

Pearspark is sized for exactly that: $50/month includes your first 20 students, then $2.50 per additional student. There's nothing to license per module and nothing you're paying for that only a district would use.

We run everything in spreadsheets today. How do we move?

Students, guardians, applicants, historical transcripts, and assignment-level gradebooks all import from CSV, with a dry-run preview so you check every row before anything is written.

Do we need separate tools for billing and the parent portal?

No. Tuition plans, monthly billing runs, Stripe online payments, and the family portal are all part of the same flat price — invoices show up in the portal where families already see grades and attendance.

See it with your own eyes

Poke around a real school — admin, teacher, and parent views, no signup, no sales call. Then start yours at $50/month including 20 students.
