Pearspark includes tuition billing at no extra charge: per-student plans, automatic sibling discounts, a full financial aid module (family applications, sliding-scale bands, scholarships, ESA and SGO funding), one combined invoice per family each month, one-off fees billed to a class or grade in one step, check and cash recording, and online payment by bank transfer or card through the school's own Stripe account — payouts go straight to the school's bank.
Bill families, not line items
Set tuition plans, assign students, apply sibling discounts, and each family gets one combined monthly invoice. Record checks and cash alongside online payments so the ledger is complete either way.
One-off fees without the spreadsheet
Field trips, supplies, activity fees: keep a reusable fee catalog, bill a student, a class, a grade, or the whole school in one step, and each family gets one grouped invoice. Waive a fee with an internal note, watch billed-collected-unpaid roll up per batch, and export the batch to CSV.
Online payments on your own Stripe account
Families pay by bank transfer or card through Stripe Connect on the school's own account — money settles to your bank, not ours. Pearspark's platform fee on online payments — tuition and one-off fees alike — is 0.5%, published, on top of Stripe's standard processing.
Financial aid that knows who's paying
Automatic sibling discounts, sliding-scale income bands, family aid applications reviewed behind a dedicated permission, and third-party funding done right: ESA and SGO awards show families what the program is expected to pay, per-student ESA-ready invoices upload cleanly to ClassWallet or Odyssey, and settlement reports import in one step so every dollar reconciles by funder.
Not a paid module
Incumbent systems commonly price tuition management as a separate product. In Pearspark it's part of the flat price — the same $50/month that covers the gradebook covers billing, financial aid, and ESA reconciliation.

Common questions
Where does the money go?
Directly to the school. Online payments run through Stripe Connect on the school's own Stripe account, so payouts settle to your bank on Stripe's normal schedule — Pearspark never holds your tuition.
What does online payment cost?
Stripe's standard processing fees plus Pearspark's published 0.5% platform fee on online payments, whether the invoice is tuition or a one-off fee. The fee comes out of the payment — families never pay extra. Checks and cash you record cost nothing.
Can families pay by bank transfer instead of card?
Yes — ACH bank transfer and card are both supported, and ACH fees are typically much lower for tuition-sized payments.
