How to enter grades in the gradebook grid

  1. 1Open your class from Classes in the sidebar and click Gradebook
  2. 2Click any student's cell in the grid and type the score — it autosaves per cell
  3. 3Press Enter or the arrow keys to move to the next cell
  4. 4Type e in a cell to mark the student excused; leave blank for ungraded
  5. 5Click Fill empty under an assignment's column header to give one score to every student without one (it never overwrites)
  6. 6Click Summary to switch to per-student overall, category, missing, and trend columns

Part of Gradebook, report cards & transcripts
