How to rename grade levels to match your program

  1. 1Click Settings under Administration in the sidebar — Settings opens on the School profile section
  2. 2In "Grade level label", type what your school calls a grade level — "Program", "Year", or "Level" (blank = "Grade") — then click Save
  3. 3Open the Academics section and list your levels in order, comma-separated, in "Grade ladder" (e.g. "K, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8")
  4. 4Click Save — each settings section saves on its own
  5. 5The new word appears everywhere — filters, student pages, billing pickers — and renaming never changes student records

Part of School setup & the year cycle

Configure the school once — branding, years and terms, classes, staff, roles — then let the June rollover wizard carry it all into the new year.
