How to switch to a block rotation (A/B day) schedule

  1. 1Click Settings under Administration in the sidebar
  2. 2Open the "Academics" section and set "Timetable pattern" to "Block rotation"
  3. 3Enter your "Rotation days" labels, comma-separated (e.g. "A, B" or "Day 1, Day 2, Day 3")
  4. 4Click Save — each settings section saves on its own
  5. 5Click Schedule under Learning in the sidebar and open the "Setup" summary line
  6. 6In the "A/B days" card, click Auto-assign, then confirm Auto-assign — rotation days are laid across every weekday of the current academic year in sequence
  7. 7Adjust individual days (e.g. around holidays) on the rotation calendar; the page header now shows "Today is A day"
