How to check your financial aid decision

  1. 1Open the Financial aid page: click "View decision" in the school's email, or click Billing in the portal navigation bar
  2. 2On Billing, click the banner about your application — it says where it stands, such as "Your financial aid application was approved.", and stays up after the school stops taking applications
  3. 3Read the badge on each Application card — Submitted, Waiting on family, In review, Awarded, or Declined
  4. 4On an approved one, read "Your application was approved." and the school's note beneath it
  5. 5Check the "Your family's aid" card for each child's award and how much comes off each bill
  6. 6Before the school decides, you can click "Withdraw" and confirm in the dialog
  7. 7Return to Billing — the award is listed under the invoice line it discounts
