How to put the school app on your phone

  1. 1Click More in the portal navigation bar, then Settings
  2. 2In the "Get the app" card, click "Install the app" on Android or Chrome
  3. 3On iPhone or iPad, open the page in Safari, tap the Share button, then "Add to Home Screen"
  4. 4Open Pearspark from your home screen — full screen, with an unread badge on the icon; the card reads that you are using the installed app
  5. 5Scroll past the Appearance card to "Push notifications", click "Turn on notifications" and allow them when asked; the card reads "On for this device"
  6. 6Click "Send a test" to make sure a notification actually lands
  7. 7Click "Turn off" any time to stop notifications on that device
