How to view the class mastery matrix

  1. 1Open your standards-based class's Gradebook
  2. 2Click Mastery in the page header
  3. 3Read the grid: every enrolled student × every standard the class practices, with a colored level badge per cell
  4. 4Change "Current level =" to Most recent rating or Best rating earned and click Apply
  5. 5Check the Class levels footer row for the per-standard distribution (e.g. "E 5 · S 4 · N 2")

Tag assignments with standards, rate mastery where the latest evidence wins, and report skills to families — separate from GPA transcripts.
