Procare is the child care incumbent — 40,000+ centers, thirty years, and subsidy, ratio and daily-report tooling nothing on this list matches. Searches for a Procare alternative usually come from a specific place: a preschool that grew into a school. The first elementary class needs a graded report card, a gradebook behind it, and eventually a transcript — and Procare's own assessments system describes itself as covering birth to kindergarten entry, with report cards, grades and transcripts appearing nowhere in its published materials.

When staying with Procare is the right call

For a child care center or preschool, Procare covers the jobs Pearspark does not do at all: subsidy billing, Head Start compliance, ratio tracking, meal programs and daily-activity feeds.
