Show the whole year on a progress-report checklist
A screen recording of Pearspark doing exactly this in a sample school, and the same 7 steps written out below in the labels you'll see on screen.
How to show the whole year on a progress-report checklist
- 1Click Settings, then Academics
- 2Under "Progress-report checklists" (for classes graded by a checklist each period), tick "Build across the year" and click Save. It is off until you tick it
- 3Open the checklist class: Classes → the class → Progress reports, and pick a later grading period
- 4Under each skill, a line shows the child's earlier marks this year (for example, Semester 1: Emerging). Only staff see it, and it shows whether or not the setting is on
- 5A skill the child already mastered can be left alone this period — the card still shows the earlier mark
- 6Once the period is locked, click Report cards. Each card lists every skill from this year's checklists so far, with a column per grading period and the mark given in each; this period's column is in the school's color
- 7Only locked periods print: an earlier period that isn't locked prints blank, and a card whose own period isn't locked says "not posted"
