How to record allergies, conditions, and emergency info

  1. 1Go to "Students" in the sidebar and open the student
  2. 2Click the "Health & behavior" tab to open the "Health" card
  3. 3Next to "Allergies & conditions", click "Add"
  4. 4In the "Add allergy / condition" dialog, pick the "Type" (Allergy or Condition), enter the "Name", set "Severity" for allergies, and note the reaction — flag it to alert staff if serious
  5. 5Click "Add" — severe allergies now badge the student for every adult who views them
  6. 6Next to "Emergency info", click "Edit" to open "Emergency & insurance info": fill in "Physician", "Physician phone", "Insurance carrier", "Policy #", and "Emergency notes", and check "Consent to emergency treatment on file", then click "Save"

Part of Health, behavior & safety

Allergies that badge the student everywhere, medication logs, printable emergency cards, behavior notes families actually read, and a handbook ladder every adult follows the same way.
