How to review a family's aid application and decide

  1. 1Click Billing under Administration in the sidebar, then click the "Financial aid" tab
  2. 2Click Review queue — the badge shows how many families are waiting
  3. 3Read the three tiles on the application: Household, Income, and "Band suggests"
  4. 4Click Start review, then Mark as in review
  5. 5Click Award…, check "Percent off tuition (%)" (prefilled from the family's band), set "Record as" and School year, and add a note to the family
  6. 6Click "Award & notify family" — one award is created for every child on the application
  7. 7Or click Decline…, then "Decline & notify family"
  8. 8The application moves to Decided with an awarded badge and a link to the awards

Part of Financial aid, scholarships & ESA

Set the year's aid budget, take applications in the portal, decide them against a sliding scale, and let every award land on the invoice by itself — plus the ESA and scholarship paperwork states keep asking for.
