How to import grades from a CSV

  1. 1Click Classes under Learning in the sidebar and open your class
  2. 2Click Gradebook
  3. 3Open the More menu in the page header and click Import to open 'Import grades from CSV'
  4. 4Choose your CSV file — one row per student, one column per assignment, max points in the header like 'Quiz 1 (20)'
  5. 5Click Preview — it's a dry run, nothing is written yet
  6. 6Review the report of what will be created and updated
  7. 7Click Import
  8. 8Tip: Export CSV in that same More menu gives you a file in exactly this shape — edit it and re-import
