Lay a curriculum onto a class

A screen recording of Pearspark doing exactly this in a sample school, and the same 7 steps written out below in the labels you'll see on screen.

How to lay a curriculum onto a class

  1. 1Click Learning then Planner, then the Curriculum pill
  2. 2Open the curriculum and click Lay onto a class
  3. 3Choose the Class and set First lesson on, then click Preview
  4. 4Read the dry run: which lesson lands on which date, and any that fall past the year's end
  5. 5Click Lay N lessons
  6. 6Leave "Also add the curriculum's units as bands on the year view" ticked and click Lay them
  7. 7Back on the Planner week grid, the lessons are there as drafts you can edit or bump
