Start a learning plan for a student
A screen recording of Pearspark doing exactly this in a sample school, and the same 7 steps written out below in the labels you'll see on screen.
How to start a learning plan for a student
- 1Click Students under People in the sidebar and open the student
- 2Open the Academics tab and find the Learning plan card (it reads No plan for this year yet)
- 3Click + Start a plan
- 4Confirm the School year and set Review on for when you will look at it again
- 5Click Start it — the card shows the plan as a Draft with its review date
- 6Click Open → to go to the plan itself, then add its goals
- 7The family can't see the plan until you make it live (More → Make it live for the family)
