How to log a positive behavior note and share it with the family

  1. 1In the sidebar, under People, click Behavior
  2. 2Click the 'Positive note' button (next to 'Log incident') in the page header
  3. 3In the 'Log a positive note' dialog, pick the student(s), the note type, and the location
  4. 4Leave 'Visible to the family in the portal' checked (it defaults on for positive notes) so parents see it under behavior notes; check 'Confidential (reviewers only)' instead if it should stay internal
  5. 5Click 'Log it' — you'll see 'Positive note logged' and the entry appears with a 'Family sees this' badge

Allergies that badge the student everywhere, medication logs, printable emergency cards, behavior notes families actually read, and a handbook ladder every adult follows the same way.
