How to log a classroom observation on a child

  1. 1Click Observations under Learning in the sidebar
  2. 2Click + New observation
  3. 3Type to search for a student in the Student field, then pick them from the results
  4. 4Type what you saw in the 'What you observed' box — e.g. 'Chose the golden beads again after lunch'
  5. 5Optionally add a Curriculum area (like Practical Life) and adjust When (blank = now)
  6. 6Optionally attach a Photo (staff and this child's family only)
  7. 7Check 'Share with the family in the portal' if the family should see it
  8. 8Click Save observation
