Update your child's emergency information

A screen recording of Pearspark doing exactly this in a sample school, and the same 6 steps written out below in the labels you'll see on screen.

How to update your child's emergency information

  1. 1On Home, click "Health" on your child's card.
  2. 2Find the "Emergency information" card and click "Edit".
  3. 3Fill in "Doctor", "Doctor's phone", "Insurance carrier", and "Policy number".
  4. 4Add anything staff should know under "Anything else in an emergency".
  5. 5Tick "I authorize the school to seek emergency medical treatment for [child] if I can't be reached" if you consent.
  6. 6Click "Save" — the card shows the new details, and its "Emergency treatment" line says Authorized.

Part of Health, behavior & safety

Allergies that badge the student everywhere, medication logs, printable emergency cards, behavior notes families actually read, and a handbook ladder every adult follows the same way.
