Fill in each child's progress report checklist
A screen recording of Pearspark doing exactly this in a sample school, and the same 9 steps written out below in the labels you'll see on screen.
How to fill in each child's progress report checklist
- 1Click Classes in the Learning section of the sidebar and open your class
- 2Click Progress reports at the top — or, in the Gradebook, click Fill in progress reports
- 3Check the grading period pill (the current one is picked) — click another to switch
- 4On each statement, click a level; a row left on the dash is not judged and prints blank
- 5Write a line in "Comment (optional)" where it helps — a comment needs a level on its row
- 6Click Save — the child counts as done; families see nothing until you lock the period
- 7Click Next unfinished to jump to the next child with rows left
- 8When every child is done, click Lock checklists for report cards (also in the Gradebook), check who is listed as not done, then click Lock checklists — every child's card reaches their family at once, and a Save after that shows on the card straight away
- 9Click Report cards to print the whole class — each card is also on the child's record, Academics tab, under "Report cards"
