How to start your day from the dashboard

  1. 1Click Dashboard at the top of the sidebar
  2. 2Read the line under "Welcome" — today's date, the rotation day, and when your next class starts
  3. 3Check "Needs you today" for absences parents reported, work left to grade and unread messages — click a row to open it
  4. 4Scan Today: each class with its time, room and how many students
  5. 5Click "Take attendance" on the class in session
  6. 6Scroll to My classes to jump to any other class you teach
  7. 7On a phone, the Today tab leads with a "Now" or "Next up" card, with Take attendance and a planner button
