Put a repaired item back in service
A screen recording of Pearspark doing exactly this in a sample school, and the same 6 steps written out below in the labels you'll see on screen.
How to put a repaired item back in service
- 1In the sidebar under Library & resources, click Resources, then open the resource.
- 2The badges at the top show the split — e.g. "3 in maintenance". Click the Maintenance · 3 filter chip above the items table.
- 3Each row shows its Status badge as maintenance, and the Who / why column carries the damage note typed at return, e.g. "Cracked screen".
- 4When the item is repaired, click Mark fixed on that row.
- 5The row leaves the Maintenance list. Click the All chip: the item shows Available with its Book button.
- 6Until you do this, Reserve does not count the item as available.

Barcode labels you print yourself, a scan station for checkout, holds families place from home, shared equipment reserved with dates instead of arguments — and the textbooks, shelf counts, and supply cupboard that come with all of it.
