How to ask the Help assistant how to do something

  1. 1From any page in your portal, click the round "Help" button in the bottom-right corner
  2. 2Click a suggested question like "How do I check my attendance?" — or type your own question in the "How do I…?" box and click "Ask"
  3. 3Read the steps the assistant returns — answers come straight from the Pearspark help guides; if it isn't sure which guide you mean, it lists a few to pick from
  4. 4Click "Show me" and the assistant takes you to the right page, with a ring around the next thing to click
  5. 5Click "Watch it" to open a short how-to video when one exists
  6. 6If the assistant couldn't answer, click "Send this to a person": your question goes to Pearspark without your name, to improve the help guides. Nobody writes back, so ask your teacher about anything to do with your classes
