Add a follow-up note or witness statement to a behavior entry
A screen recording of Pearspark doing exactly this in a sample school, and the same 7 steps written out below in the labels you'll see on screen.
How to add a follow-up note or witness statement to a behavior entry
- 1Open People in the sidebar, then click Behavior
- 2Find the entry — type into "Search entries…" and press Enter, or pick "Incidents", a status, or a type in the dropdowns and press Enter
- 3The feed is grouped by day, newest first, with badges like "Major", "Open", and "Family sees this"
- 4On the entry, click "Note"
- 5In "Add note — {type}", set "Kind" to "Follow-up note" or "Witness statement"
- 6Write it in "Note" — "Notes are dated, attributed, and permanent."
- 7Click "Add note" — it's stamped with your name and the date, and stays on the record
