File a student's test scores and share them with the family

A screen recording of Pearspark doing exactly this in a sample school, and the same 7 steps written out below in the labels you'll see on screen.

How to file a student's test scores and share them with the family

  1. 1Click Students under People in the sidebar, open the student, and click the Academics tab
  2. 2On the "Assessments & resources" card, click Add
  3. 3Pick "What is it?": "Assessment results" for the score report, "How to read the scores" for the explainer, or "Resource to help" for something to use at home
  4. 4Choose the File (PDF or photo, up to 10 MB), type a Name by test and term, and set "Date given" if you have it
  5. 5Leave "Who may open it?" on "Staff only", or pick the family option to show it on the child's portal page, then click Add
  6. 6To share or unshare a file later, click its "Staff only" or "Shared with family" badge, change "Who may open it?", and click Save
  7. 7Tell the family: sharing a file sends no email
