Publish graduation requirements

A screen recording of Pearspark doing exactly this in a sample school, and the same 6 steps written out below in the labels you'll see on screen.

How to publish graduation requirements

  1. 1Click Academics in the Learning section of the sidebar, then open the Graduation tab
  2. 2Click Add set — the "Add graduation requirements" dialog opens
  3. 3Fill in Name, "Grades this applies to" (e.g. 9, 10, 11, 12), and a "Required credits note" if the numbers need explaining
  4. 4Under Requirements, pick a Subject and its Credits on each row, clicking Add requirement for the next — leave a row on "Total credits" for the overall credits to graduate
  5. 5Click Add set to publish it — the first set a school adds becomes its Default, which governs every student in the grades it lists
  6. 6Open Reports under Administration, then View report on Graduation progress to see who is short, and by how much

Part of Gradebook, report cards & transcripts

Enter grades in a spreadsheet-style grid, post them once, and watch report cards and transcripts assemble themselves — plus the What-If views families use on their side.
