List your over-the-counter medicines and record each family's answer
A screen recording of Pearspark doing exactly this in a sample school, and the same 7 steps written out below in the labels you'll see on screen.
How to list your over-the-counter medicines and record each family's answer
- 1Click Settings under Administration in the sidebar and open the Health & behavior tab
- 2List your medicines, separated by commas, under "Over-the-counter medicines the office may give" and click Save
- 3Click Health under People in the sidebar, then the "OTC permissions unanswered" tile — the Students card below narrows to the children with no answer yet
- 4Click a student's name — their Health tab lists each medicine as "Not answered"
- 5Click Record answers, then set "May be given?" to Yes or No for each medicine and add a Note if needed (leave it at Not answered if the form is silent)
- 6Type the parent's name as signed under "Authorized by" and click Save — each row shows the answer, who gave it and when
- 7Click "Print emergency card" to see the answers on the card
